Another way that ARF achieves its mission is through its education program to the local schools from grades K-12. The ARF educator, Ms. Sandra Rodriguez, has 23 years of experience as an educator, actress, and activist. She designed the ARF curriculum, utilizing an interactive play to engage the children in an effort to raise their consciousness about animal abuse, animal rights and animal protection laws as well as owner responsibilities. Ms. Rodriguez has made ARF's program unique by using music, costumes, role playing and other techniques in which the children actively participate, examine the issues and decide the outcome.

ARF participants instruct the students regarding organization, team work, practical skills and especially the importance of animal welfare and owner responsibilities. ARF endeavors to make the volunteering experience a positive one and is happy to provide a referral letter to colleges for any student completing the program.
